Thankful Friday

This week I want to give a shout out to my kids. I’m thankful and so very grateful that despite the parenting mistakes I’ve made along the way, my son and daughter have grown into amazing young adults who are now teaching me about giving back to others. My son is a social worker who fights each and every day for the kids in Phoenix who’ve been abandoned, abused or forgotten by their families and my daughter is pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis on trauma psychology and currently works counseling convicts who are preparing to reenter society. Her goal in the future is to work with veterans suffering from PTSD.Who are you thankful for?
